These jerry cans of the popular Invertbee sugar syrup holds 2.5 litres (3.5kg) of ready-to-use feed. The weight is more manageable than the larger drums to aide easy pouring, and each unit contains the perfect volume to fill a poly nuc side feeder.
Invertbee is a syrup of extremely high purity with a long shelf life. It is made up exclusively of sucrose and its building blocks fructose and glucose - none of which will strain the bee's digestive tract.
The high proportion of fructose means that the product shows little tendency to granulate in the honeycombs even at low temperatures, meaning this food source remains available to the bees and prevents starvation.
Also available in larger drums of 12.5kg or 25kg.
