Description
Nicot Queen Rearing Cupkit System is a simple way of raising queens without the need to graft. 100 plastic cell cups are inserted into the back of the comb box which is mounted in a frame and the queen is placed in the front of the cage under a queen excluder. She will then continue to lay in the cell cups. Once she has laid the eggs she can then be removed. Four days after the egg has been laid tiny larvae will be visible sitting in a pool of royal jelly. At this stage the cell cups can be removed and attached to a queen cup holder and these placed onto a cell bar frame. Once the queen cells are sealed, hair roller cages should be carefully placed over them to contain the emerging virgin queens.
